At the meeting of creditors held on September 13, 2021, MNP Ltd. substituted Lemieux Nolet Inc. in their former function as Trustee to the bankruptcy of 9407-1131 Québec Inc.

On September 29, 2021 Canadian Development Strategies Inc., 1143402 Alberta Ltd., Crossroads ONE Inc., 1216699 Alberta Ltd., Oak and Ash Farm Ltd. and 2061778 Alberta Ltd. (collectively referred to as the “Companies”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) and MNP Ltd. consented to act as Proposal Trustee. The Companies owned and operated a resort property near Fowler Lake, Saskatchewan referred to as FireSong.

On September 20, 2021 Cirdea Food Services Inc. (“Cirdea”) was assigned into bankruptcy and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Cirdea operated a Mary Brown’s Fried Chicken franchise in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

IACC was incorporated August 8, 1985. The Company operated as a nationwide electrical equipment and supply wholesaler. IACC’s operations were managed from a private residence at 493 Melcrest Road, London Ontario. More recently, sales in key industries including Canadian pulp, mining, and petrochemical have been on the decline and worsened following the 2020 global pandemic. On August 20, 2021, pursuant to section 243 (1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta granted an Order appointing MNP Ltd. as Receiver and Manager, of all current and future assets, undertakings and properties of every nature and kind of 2127712 Alberta Ltd. All publicly available documents in these proceedings will be posted on this website.

Organic Hill Corp. filed an assignment on the 17 th day of August, 2021, and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee , subject to affirmation by the creditors at the first meeting of creditors.

Réseau Dentaire Inc. filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal on June 17, 2021 and MNP consented to act as Trustee under the proposal. (NOI) On August 31, 2021, Réseau Dentaire Inc. was deemed bankrupt pursuant to the non-filing of a proposal.

On September 10, 2021 MNP Ltd. was appointed as Receiver of Aberdeen & District Charities Inc. under the terms of the security agreements granted to Affinity Credit Union. Aberdeen & District Charities Inc. owned and operated a recreational center in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan.

On January 20, 2021, the Quebec Superior Court for the district of Montreal (the "Court") sitting as a court designated pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") issued an Order authorizing the Debtor to continue its restructuring process under CCAA, appointing MNP Ltd. as monitor (the "Monitor") and providing the Debtor with various protections as they prepare a plan of reorganization in virtue of the CCAA.
