Biography:

Ian Schofield, CA, CIRP, CBV, Trustee is a Senior Vice President of MNP LTD's Insolvency and Corporate Recovery practice based in Regina.  Ian has more than 25 years of experience assisting his clients with all their corporate and personal insolvency needs, including overseeing bankruptcies, proposals, receiverships, business reviews, viability assessments, liquidations and agency appointments.

Ian is also a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) who has extensive experience valuing businesses in a diverse range of industries. A respected expert in his field, Ian has given expert witness testimony before the courts in both Saskatchewan and Alberta and has assisted in numerous forensic accounting engagements, damage quantification cases, business interruption claims and shareholder disputes.

Ian received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1977 before earning his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1979. Throughout his career, Mr. Schofield has remained committed to professional and educational development, obtaining designations as a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), a Trustee in Bankruptcy  and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
